This unique recorder not only automatically
records both sides of telephone conversations, it also has a built-in DTMF
(touch tones) decoder which captures and displays the numbers dialed on
outgoing calls and a built-in Caller ID for incoming calls. In addition to
being displayed, the called or incoming number is recorded permanently onto
the tape along with the time and date of the call. Whenever the tape is
played in the future, this information will be displayed during the
corresponding conversation.
This unit has a long-play recording
capability, providing for 5 hours total recording time on a 120-minute
cassette tape. This unit provides a detailed, permanent record of all the
activity on your telephone line — every word that was said, the number
dialed of every outgoing call, and the caller’s number on incoming calls
(subject to the limitations of Caller ID). It even decodes and stores access
codes or any other responses that are conveyed over the telephone using DTMF
tones. The recorder automatically starts recording when any phone on the
line is picked up and stops when it is hung up again, so there is no “dead
time” on the tape. One unit works on all extension phones on a line.
It also has voice- controlled mode which
records only while people are speaking, thereby expanding the effective
recording time even further and eliminating gaps such as when a caller is on
hold. Versatile automatic recording options allow for recording incoming
calls only, outgoing calls only, or both. It can also be programmed to
record only the first X (X = 1 to 9) minutes of each call if desired. It
also allows for monitoring while recording and has a built-in microphone.
This recorder provides a complete, documented record of both the incoming
and outgoing call activity on a phone line — who called where and when, and
what was said.
Powered by AC adapter (included) or four AA
alkaline batteries (not included). Uses standard cassettes (120-minute
cassettes are available p.20). Connects instantly into a standard telephone
